An Auckland-based rest home is seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant to join their team. The role involves a variety of duties, including but not limited to: 

• Supporting clients in learning new skills that enable them to be active members of their community 
• Assisting clients in making informed decisions and choices 
• Encouraging clients to explore and participate in cultural experiences 
• Helping clients maintain good health and well-being 
• Assisting with day-to-day health and medical needs 
• Providing personal care to clients 
• Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients 
• Encouraging clients to engage in family activities and build relationships with others 
• Supporting clients in making positive lifestyle choices
