A leading provider of services throughout New Zealand, Aspire Hire is excited to offer an opportunity for an Employment Consultant to join our team, based in Auckland central. 

As an Employment Consultant at Aspire Hire, you will work with clients referred by the Ministry of Social Development and other organizations to support them in securing meaningful and sustainable employment. 

In this role, you’ll enjoy a high degree of independence and will be responsible for: 

• Actively cold calling and networking with employers to broker employment opportunities for clients 
• Developing career and job search plans tailored to each client 
• Creating market-ready CVs 
• Providing coaching and support to prepare clients for job interviews 
• Connecting clients with short-term industry training to help them upskill 
• Offering post-placement support to ensure clients are successful in sustaining their new employment 

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and this role will suit someone who is motivated, able to navigate challenges, and passionate about helping others achieve the benefits of paid employment.

Applicants need to have the right to work in NZ, hold a Full Class 1 Driver License, and be able to pass a criminal record check. A background in recruitment, vocational rehab for people with health conditions, and having a network of employers or employer associations would be an advantage.
